Our humble beginning of Methodist Men’s work started way back in the 1997 by our pioneers Mr. Philip Paul, John Peters, Christopher, Abraham Paul, Durairaj, Rev Philp Abraham, Rev Prabu Dass Roberts, Pastor Pandian and more. They were busy grapping souls to kick start our Methodist Men at Blk 134 of Taman Jurong which is no longer there.
Our pioneers weekly meet at least once a week during week days for their planning towards the growth. Their feet went all over Taman Jurong, Boon Lay, Teban and Pandan Gardens. As mobile phone was not available and home phones were rare, they visited homes with not knowing if members were around during their rounds.
The bountiful closeness, astonishing relationship within our pioneers was wonderful. Yes they planted and we are working and reaping the outcome (John 4:37). Praise The Lord for his ever good news. Shalom …
